Neither Courage Wolf nor Calming Manatee were doing much to help my anxiety, but I knew they were both on to something.
So, I created Calmage Wolfatee.

According to what I see in my askbox a lot of people are wondering why I’ve become so inactive/am not using this blog a lot anymore.
If when faced with the senseless and cold blooded murder of 149 people in terrifying circumstances your thoughts, horror and outrage isn`t for the victims but rather for yourself and how you can make this about you and your issues instead by using it to make your point, then you seriously need to take a long hard look in the mirror.
It`s sickening that the posts that have ten thousands of reblogs are people whining about the co-pilot not being called a terrorist because he is white (ingnoring the fact that in the absence of any ideological motivation, he effectively isn`t one - words have meanings you know and what he is however is a mass murderer which is horrible enough - and also ignoring that plenty of white people have been called terrorists in Europe since we`ve been dealing with them for a long time!) and basically insulting europe again, while posts where people are grieving or messages of support are very few and far between.
Litterally this place didn`t care at all about the Germanwings plane crash (the few posts about this were from Europeans and only had couple hundreds of notes at most) until they found out about what the co-pilote did and therefore realised they could use it to push their cheap (and often american centered) point down people`s throats and derail the conversation in order to make it about their “social justice”.
I (and I think quite a few people will agree with me here) would rather you don`t speak about this at all than pretend you care just so you can use it to further your agenda with no thoughts at all about the countries and people affected by what happened.
Get over yourselves and let Germany, Spain as well as all the countries affected grieve in peace.

Dear Americans,
no one justifies what Andreas Lubitz did because he was white. The experts are looking for the reason why he did it and mental ilness seems like the only explanation since it wasn’t proven that he crushed this plane because of religious or political ideology like terrorists do. Believe us, we had plenty examples of white terrorists in action and we know what terrorism is (they were never justified so shut the fuck up). And while we agree that it wasn’t suicide, it also wasn’t terrorist attack but mass murder. No one pities this man, no one’s saying “Oh, such a poor creature, he surely had a reason to do it.” Everyone’s mad at him cause he killed 149 innocent prople with no reason. Stop fucking comparing what’s happening in Europe to what happened in USA cause if you haven’t noticed yet, not every place on this planet looks like god damn US.
Sincerely,
Europeans

Everytime something horrible happens here, do we get respect? Support? Grieving? The courtesy of letting us speak about our own issues instead of speaking loudly over us?
No we don’t, instead we get judgement, american cultural imperialism, insults, people trying to explain to us what is happening in our own continent and countries, people trying to force their cultural views, circumstances and background on us all the while derailing the conversations to make it about themselves.
Amazing.

ok let’s just make one thing clear. if everything we’ve heard so far holds true and the co-pilot deliberately drove down the plane with 150 people on board – that’s not committing suicide, that’s being a sociopathic MASS MURDERER. it took approximately 10 minutes for the plane to go down, if he wanted to do it quickly and spare as much as suffering as possible (if we can even use a phrase like that in this context) he could have. but he didn’t. depressed people only harm themselves, whereas he wanted people to suffer. can you imagine the sheer terror those people must have felt? school kids were on board. babies, too. it’s an act of such unspeakable evil i’m honestly finding it hard to get my head around it.
he was also not a terrorist as there does not appear to be any religious, political or ideological motivation behind what he did, and i think the german authorities would have informed the public by now if there was any suspicion of terrorist affiliations. so don’t use such a horrible, unforgivable tragedy to make some lame-ass fucking point about how the media portrays all muslims as terrorists, but never white people. there is a time and place for everything, and yes, that’s highly problematic – but honestly, it’s so fucking gross to use the completely unnecessary suffering and death of 150 people to make a political point. have some respect and compassion for the victims and their families and don’t derail their suffering to such a callous, cynical end. please.
